1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using UniPath Australia ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is developed and operated by MustiIQ, Melbourne, Australia.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use UniPath Australia. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. What UniPath Australia is — and isn't
UniPath Australia is:
- An independent information tool to help international students explore Australian universities
- A research aid covering courses, scholarships, visa processes and life in Australia
- An AI assistant (ARIA) trained to provide general guidance on the student journey
UniPath Australia is NOT:
- An official Australian Government, Department of Home Affairs, or university service
- A registered migration agent or immigration consultant
- A substitute for professional legal, financial or migration advice
- A guarantee of admission to any university or visa approval
4. Visa and immigration matters
Information provided about the Australian Student Visa (Subclass 500) is general guidance only. Visa policies, fees and processing times can change at any time without notice. Before applying for any visa, you must consult a MARA-registered Migration Agent or verify all information directly with the Department of Home Affairs at immi.homeaffairs.gov.au. UniPath Australia accepts no liability for visa application outcomes.
5. Course and university information
Tuition fees, course details, entry requirements and rankings shown in the app are sourced from publicly available information and may change. Always verify the latest details directly with the university before applying or making financial decisions.
6. ARIA AI assistant
ARIA provides AI-generated responses based on a language model developed by Anthropic. AI responses:
- May contain errors, outdated information or inaccuracies
- Should be verified against official sources before you act on them
- Are not professional advice in any field (legal, medical, financial, immigration)
Free users have access to a curated FAQ Knowledge Base. Premium subscribers receive unlimited AI conversations subject to daily fair-use limits.
7. Premium subscription
Premium plans are sold through Google Play and managed by RevenueCat:
- Monthly: AUD $9.99 per month, billed monthly
- Yearly: AUD $59.99 per year, billed annually
- Family: AUD $89.99 per year for up to 3 users
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancel anytime through your Google Play account settings. Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy; we do not process refunds directly.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code
- Abuse the ARIA assistant with automated requests or attempts to bypass usage limits
- Share your premium subscription credentials outside the Family plan
- Submit false or misleading information that may harm other users
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Intellectual property
The UniPath Australia app, its content (excluding user-generated content), branding and ARIA prompt engineering are owned by MustiIQ. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, redistribute or build derivative products from our content without written permission.
10. User-generated content
Any messages you send to ARIA, notes you save, or feedback you provide remain your property. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of operating the app.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
UniPath Australia is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate. Use of the app is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniPath Australia and its developer accept no liability for:
- Decisions made based on information in the app
- Visa application outcomes
- Financial losses, lost opportunities or expenses incurred
- Service interruptions, data loss or third-party service failures
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid for premium subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold UniPath Australia and MustiIQ harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
